LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Part 1: Diagnosis and Treatment of Neuropathies
- Recognize the patterns of clinical presentation for nerve disease and determine appropriate laboratory testing.
- Review electrodiagnostic cases of entrapment neuropathies.
- Recognize the diverse presentations of immune-mediated neuropathy and discuss neuropathic pain management guidelines.
Part 2: Diagnosis and Treatment of Peripheral Nervous System Motor Disorders
- Review approach to muscle weakness and discuss the clinical presentation of motor neuron disease.
- Summarize the evaluation and treatment of acquired muscle disorders.
- Identify tests and therapies for myasthenia gravis and review immune-suppressive therapies.
