LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Part 1: Diagnosis and Treatment of Neuropathies
3.75 CME Hours
 
  • Recognize the patterns of clinical presentation for nerve disease and determine appropriate laboratory testing.
  • Review electrodiagnostic cases of entrapment neuropathies.
  • Recognize the diverse presentations of immune-mediated neuropathy and discuss neuropathic pain management guidelines.
Part 2: Diagnosis and Treatment of Peripheral Nervous System Motor Disorders
3 CME Hours
 
  • Review approach to muscle weakness and discuss the clinical presentation of motor neuron disease.
  • Summarize the evaluation and treatment of acquired muscle disorders.
  • Identify tests and therapies for myasthenia gravis and review immune-suppressive therapies.
