Neurologists and professionals working in the neurosciences are invited to the Neurology Update Course 2020 hosted by the University of Kansas Medical Center and The University of Kansas Health System.

Set for Feb. 15, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas, the one-day course will highlight the latest advancements and insights in neurological care and treatment. A slate of academic-affiliated physicians will discuss a variety of topics under four main educational tracks - stroke, headache medicine, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. Participants will be able to tailor their course experience by choosing the tracks of greatest interest to them.

"Our meeting has always been well received by neurologists and other clinical neuroscience specialists and this year it will be even better," said Gary S. Gronseth, M.D., FAAN, chair of the Department of Neurology at KU Medical Center. "We've expanded our course offerings to individual workshop sessions in epilepsy, headache medicine, stroke and Parkinson's disease to take advantage of a truly personalized approach to education."

Featured presenters will be from KU Medical Center, The University of Kansas Health System, Novant Health Neurology & Sleep, Harvard Medical School and Meritas Health.

Attendees may earn continuing education credits. To register or for more information, visit kansashealthsystem.com/neuroupdate2020.
