Neurology and neurosurgery program ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report

The neurology and neurosurgery program at The University of Kansas Hospital was named among the top 50 in the nation for the ninth straight year by U.S. News & World Report.

The neurology and neurosurgery program at The University of Kansas Hospital was named among the top 50 in the nation for the ninth straight year by U.S. News & World Report. The University of Kansas Health System is a partner of the University of Kansas Medical Center.

The program was listed at No. 30 in the 2020-21 edition of the annual rankings. It is one of six adult medical and surgical specialties in the health system recognized in the top 50 this year.

Five additional health system specialties were recognized as "high performing," meaning they were among the top 10 % of all hospitals evaluated for each specialty.

The University of Kansas Hospital also was recognized as the "Best Hospital in Kansas" for the ninth time and the "Best Hospital in Kansas City" for the 11th year. The University of Kansas Hospital is the only hospital to ever hold these honors.
