Rebecca Lepping, Ph.D., assistant professor in the KU School of Medicine Department of Neurology and director of the Power Of Music (PROMUS) lab, is a guest speaker at the Arts KC Thought Leadership Series May 9. Lepping is a cognitive neuroscientist, musician, and music psychologist who is passionate about the power of music. Lepping’s presentation will focus on her work in the music neuroscience lab. During the summit, attendees will discover how innovations in arts-integrated programs and services throughout the region are advancing the health and well-being of our communities.

The event takes place from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, 4801 Rockhill Rd, Kansas City, Missouri.
