Dr. Dimachkie lectures at symposium in Mexico City
His 2024 schedule includes numerous U.S. and international lectures
Mazen M. Dimachkie, M.D., professor of Neurology and director of the Neuromuscular Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center, has a full schedule of domestic and international lectures in 2024. He is a frequently invited lecturer and recognized for his vast international experience and excellent reputation as effective educator. He is well-known for the clarity and quality of his presentations.
Last year, he received an invitation from The Mexican Society of Clinical Neurophysiology and the Latin American Chapter of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology to lecture during a four-day event near Mexico City. Dr. Dimachkie shared his expertise on several topics during the VII Latin American Symposium on Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring, the IX Congress of the Latin American Chapter (CLA) of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN) and the XXVIII Congress of the Mexican Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, November 14 - 17, 2023.
"It is an honor to be invited to lecture at the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology,” said Dr. Dimachkie. His lecture topics included: mechanisms of damage to the peripheral nervous system in diabetes mellitus; a clinical and neurophysiological approach to the different types of diabetic neuropathies; therapeutic strategies in diabetic neuropathies; symptomatic therapeutic management; neuroconduction and EMG in special situations: pregnancy and older adults; autoimmune myopathies and inclusion body myositis.
