After nearly 14 years at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), the Tse lab has moved to the Department of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, and Immunology at the University of Kansas Medical Center! We are excited by this new move, enjoying our new lives in the Midwest, and looking forward to growing our research program at KU Medical Center.

Graduate trainees, KaLia Burnette and Miranda Chávez, both won 2nd place for oral presentation awards and the three minute thesis People's Choice award (Miranda Chávez) at the 2023 Student Research Forum at KU Medical Center.

Dr. Hubert Tse was honored to give the Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month Keynote on May 17, 2023, to provide insight on his background and path to academia.
