  • The University of Kansas Hospital is a 1,045-bed facility that is consistently rated the best hospital in the Kansas City metropolitan area by U.S. News & World Report
  • It is the primary subspecialty hospital for most of the central United States, including Kansas, western Missouri and parts of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Iowa
  • The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division is the regional referral center for Pulmonary Hypertension, Interstitial Lung Disease, Adult Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma and COPD
  • Home to one of the highest volume bone marrow transplant centers in the nation, with a dedicated BMT-ICU

  • 142-bed hospital that provides care to more than 50,000 veterans every year
  • The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Division heads one of the largest lung cancer screening programs in the nation, with wide access to lung cancer staging procedures and therapeutics
