Melanoma and Sarcoma
The melanoma and sarcoma cancer site team aims to provide the most compassionate and comprehensive level of care for all types of skin cancer.
The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center has developed Cancer Site Specific Teams. The physicians specialize in specific types of cancer and are experts in their field.
Our Melanoma and Sarcoma team supports the professional development of interdisciplinary members through clinical practice, education, research, quality and organizational opportunities. Team members elicit expert opinions from researchers, radiation oncologists, cancer psychologists, and surgeons, among other professionals to determine the optimal treatment plan when reviewing clinical cases. Visit KU Cancer Center to learn more.
Our team also trains future oncologists who are currently training as fellows at the University of Kansas. Learn about fellowship opportunities in the Department of Internal Medicine-Division of Medical Oncology.
