Head and Neck Cancer
The head and neck cancer team works closely with specialists at KU Cancer Center to further develop research and courses of treatment for patients.
The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center has developed "Cancer Site Specific Teams". The physicians specialize in specific types of cancer and are experts in their field.
Our Head and Neck Cancer team supports the professional development of interdisciplinary members through clinical practice, education, research, quality and organizational opportunities. Team members elicit expert opinion from researchers, radiation oncologists, cancer psychologists, and surgeons, among other professionals to determine the optimal treatment plan when reviewing clinical cases. Visit KU Cancer Center for more information:
Our team also trains future oncologists who are currently training as fellows at the University of Kansas. Learn about fellowship opportunities in the Department of Internal Medicine-Division of Medical Oncology.
