Genitourinary (GU) Cancer

The genitourinary cancer team focuses on expanding research and treatments for GU cancers. The team are experts in their field and remain committed to their mission.

The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center has developed Cancer Site Specific Teams. The physicians specialize in specific types of cancer and are experts in their field.

Our GU Cancer team supports the professional development of interdisciplinary members through clinical practice, education, research, quality and organizational opportunities. Team members elicit expert opinion from researchers, radiation oncologists, cancer psychologists and surgeons, among other professionals to determine the optimal treatment plan when reviewing clinical cases. Visit KU Cancer Center to learn more about GU cancers and treatments:

Our team also trains future oncologists who are currently training as fellows at the University of Kansas. Learn about fellowship opportunities in the Department of Internal Medicine-Division of Medical Oncology.
