How to apply

Interested in joining the medical oncology division at KU Medical Center? Review our fellowship application requirements:

Thank you for your interest in the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. We offer a three-year combined Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program accredited by the ACGME. Applications for the fellowship are submitted through ERAS. Please refer to ERAS for the timeline for application submission.

ERAS Submission requirements:

  1. Common Application Form
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Personal Statement
  4. Photograph
  5. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (from supervising physicians most familiar with your professional development)
  6. Medical School Transcripts
  7. USMLE Step I, Step II and Step III scores (or COMLEX)

For FMG applicants - copies of ECFMG certificate, VISA, EAD/EAC, etc.

NOTE: The University of Kansas School of Medicine does accept candidates with a J-1 visa sponsored through the ECFMG or applicants with permanent resident status.
