How to Apply

View steps and requirements to apply for the one-year Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) fellowship with the KU School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cellular Therapeutics and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and have completed a Hematology and Oncology fellowship by the beginning of the academic year. Please contact the fellowship coordinator Cheryl Jacobson at 913-588-0348 or cjacobson@kumc.edu for application details.

Application materials will include:

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Personal Statement
  3. Photograph
  4. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (from supervising physicians most familiar with your professional development)
  5. Medical School Transcripts
  6. USMLE Step I, Step II, and Step III scores
  7. For FMG applicants — copies of ECFMG certificate, VISA, EAD/EAC, etc.
