Hospital Medicine

Hospitalist faculty are committed to teaching excellence in care and are integral for the development and maintenance of quality improvement projects in the hospital.

Members of the division have leadership responsibilities in both administrative and education roles in addition to their clinical activities. The mission of the division is carried out through these roles and in our three areas of clinical focus: Ambulatory Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospital Medicine.

An energetic and committed faculty staffs the division including five chief residents and five faculty with dual appointments. Our faculty have teaching roles with medical students and medical residents. Several faculty also hold leadership positions in undergraduate and graduate medical education programs and faculty in Geriatric Medicine teach Fellows in their sub-specialty fellowship program.
