Our lab studies the cellular mechanisms of liver disease and leverages basic, translational, and clinical approaches to develop new molecular insights and new therapeutic approaches to deal with the growing burden of chronic liver disease. The lab is located on the 4^th floor of the Hemenway Life Science Innovation Center at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Our floor contains the research labs of 12 NIH-funded basic and translational researchers all with a focus on liver function and liver disease allowing for a network of rich scientific interactions.
