From the Division Chief:

Welcome to University of Kansas Division of Dermatology. Our mission is to provide exceptional and compassionate care to our patients, teach, train and mentor future leaders in clinical and academic dermatology, and perform meaningful, high-quality research that moves our specialty forward and improves the lives of patients.

These are indeed exciting times for the division. We are proud of our faculty who have expertise in medical dermatology, and of our fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic surgeons. The coming years will see an expansion in our academic and research activities, as well as continued growth in our medical and procedural dermatology subspecialty clinics. We aim to fulfill our mission is in an environment that is supportive and inclusive, and keeping to the highest standards.

Our residents benefit from a rich clinical experience at the University of Kansas Hospital inpatient service and outpatient clinics, the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center, and Children’s Mercy Hospital. Our aim is to provide our trainees with a well-rounded training in general, pediatric, complex medical, and procedural dermatology and dermatopathology, and prepare them to be experts in the field.

On behalf of our dermatology team: our faculty, residents, clinical and office staff, thank you for visiting our site.
