"Dr. Roldan was the first attending I ever worked with as a resident. She immediately made me feel welcomed and excited to start residency. She goes above and beyond to create a positive environment for the team — whether it’s debriefing after a difficult situation, creating a safe environment to give each other constructive feedback, or having a quick team coffee/donut break. She embodies so many traits that make her a wonderful physician and mentor: she demonstrates empathy with every interaction, she is thoughtful with her clinical decision making, and she encourages everyone to achieve their greatest potential."- Dr. Aliya Rashid, IM Kansas City resident, class of 2025
