Further Study
As we near the centennial anniversary of The Armistice on 11 November 2018 there will surely be biographies of medical persons and medical accounts of various sorts published. This section means to review and summarize what is already available and what will be forthcoming. For example, our world needs a new, comprehensive biography of the English nurse-martyr, Edith Cavell, arguably the best known medical figure of The Great War. Unsolicited submissions - following this section’s style sheet - are invited, either for old or for new sources relative to Medicine in the First World War.
