Professional Background

Kristyna is a clinical social worker with over seventeen years of experience at the University of Kansas Health Systems. Her focus is improving the standards in patient care, safety, and bioethics combined with a team-oriented approach to increase patient knowledge and improve long-term outcomes. Kristyna is focused on improving personal development and creating a collaborative work environment by providing support to peers. She has a strong belief in the importance of community involvement, social justice, and supporting others to improve our community and society as a whole.

 

Kristyna serves as the President of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care (SSLWHC). She has been serving on the board since 2018.
