Administration Fellowship
The Administration Fellowship is designed for emergency medicine-trained physicians interested in operations, administration and leadership. Educational goals focus on developing knowledge and skills in these areas and providing opportunities for their practical application. The curriculum is designed to be comprehensive but flexible. Fellows learn the core aspects of emergency department operations through participation in ACEP’s Emergency Department Directors Academy (EDDA) I/II and through readings from a core text. Fellows identify an area of interest (e.g., ED flow, billing and coding, informatics, patient satisfaction) and apply this knowledge in the form of committee assignments, journal club topics, quick-hit QI projects, as well as a larger scholarly project.
