Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery Research Fellowship

This fellowship offers you research experience in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery outcome analysis.

Overview from the Program Director

This new non-accredited research fellowship will train you in multiple aspects of clinical and outcomes research in cardiovascular medicine. You will learn basic to advanced research tools and work with institutional as well as large national databases under close mentorship. You also will participate in an extensive academic curriculum with our ACGME-accredited cardiovascular medicine fellows. If eligible, you may devote up to 10-20% of your time to clinical work, mostly in the outpatient setting.

Fellows practice at The University of Kansas Health System, a national leader in clinical care with state-of-the-art research and patient care facilities.
