Hours of operation: 10AM - 3PM (closed for lunch 12 - 1PM) every Friday during the academic semester.

Using the Lab: All KUMC students are welcome to use the lab to get free assistance and guidance on questions related to statistics coursework or other educational endeavors. Please come prepared to  show your KUMC student ID.

Guidelines for Use

All students of the University of Kansas Medical Center are welcome-please be prepared to show your  KUMC student ID. Sign in upon arrival - tracking lab use helps us staff the lab properly. When you leave, remember to sign out.

Tutoring will be provided on a  first-come-first-served basis, but time will be  limited to 1 hour when others are waiting. 

Come prepared with questions related to the material you are working on - the lab should serve to  supplement your educational experience, not to replace course or advisor/mentor instruction.

Please  limit use of cell phones, pagers, etc. If you must take a break while with a tutor, you will be returned to the back of the waitlist.

No food or drink is permitted within the Tutoring Lab.
The lab will be  closed from 12 - 1PM for lunch.

Classwork and Assignments

Tutors  cannot work any graded assignments. If you need help with a specific problem, a similar problem can be worked through to help demonstrate or explain the concept.

Please  bring your class notes or textbook - it will ensure consistency between the tutor's approach and that of your instructor to minimize confusion.
