Our Departmental goal is to be one of the premier academic programs in the country. Through our shared vision with the University of Kansas Health System and the University of Kansas School of Medicine we continue to move forward each day. We strive to deliver the highest quality care in our pain clinics, intensive care units, and OR’s. Our emphasis is on compassionate care, patient safety, performance improvement, professionalism, wellness, and leadership.

We know our biggest strength is our people. There is a family like atmosphere at KUMC among our Faculty, CRNAs, Residents, Fellows, and Administrative Staff. Outside of clinical duties many enjoy life in our vibrant city- home to world class athletics, museums, jazz and of course BBQ! Kansas City is a wonderful place to live and continues to be ranked one of the best and most livable metropolitan areas in the United States.
