Our program receives applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS). Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application. 

KUMC is requesting ALL applicants interested in our program to utilize the signal option, even if KU is your home institution. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS website.

All applications must include:

• Personal statement outlining interest in Anesthesia.
• Application
• Three letters of recommendation
• Medical school Dean's letter
• Official medical school transcripts
• USMLE/COMLEX Scores

 International medical graduates are sponsored primarily on J-1 visas. Please note that for this year’s match cycle, we are unable to sponsor H-1B visas. 

Interviews will be offered in a virtual environment. Except in infrequent circumstances, all invitations for interviews will be offered by December 1st.

Our GME office will offer "Site Visit Days" throughout recruitment season to those that we have invited to interview. These are optional and carry no connection to your interview with Anesthesiology.
