Critical Care Fellowship
The critical care fellowship in the department of anesthesiology provides comprehensive training in the management of a wide variety of critically ill patients.
Welcome to the University of Kansas Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. Our 12 month ACGME-accredited Fellowship will provide comprehensive training in the management of a wide variety of critically ill patients. Fellows will rotate through the Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Neurological and ENT ICU, Surgical ICU, and Medical ICU. The University of Kansas Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center, the first Comprehensive Cardiac Center, a comprehensive stroke center, accredited burn center, and tertiary care center which attracts patients from all over Midwest. Additionally, fellows will have extensive training in critical care echocardiography, TEE, and gain experience in ICU management.
