Professional Background

Residency: OB/GYN, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL June 2019 - Present

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri (go Cards!). I knew I wanted to go into medicine one day but learned about research and MD/PhD programs in high school, when I worked in a lab at Washington University.

For undergrad, I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where I attended Tulane University. While there, I ate a ton of Cajun food, but also majored in Cell & Molecular Biology and Spanish, worked in a Developmental Biology/Regenerative Medicine lab and became very interested in the field.   While sad to leave New Orleans, I was excited to come to Kansas City to join the great MD/PhD program here and begin my career.
