Blake Ebner, M.D., Ph.D.

2020 Graduate
Professional Background
Residency: Anatomic Pathology, & Neuropathology. Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. June 2020 - Current.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with a B.S. in neuroscience. While an undergraduate I researched the Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 1 (SCA1) in Dr. Harry Orr's laboratory in the Institute for Translational Neuroscience. My research interest is neurodegeneration and my clinical interest is neurology. My thesis was on the regulation of a functional amyloid-like protein in the laboratory of Dr. Kausik Si.
I feel the MD-PhD Program at KUMC has an incredibly comprehensive system of support. They are an astonishingly effective resource that provides continual communal and professional support that I am very grateful for.
