School of Medicine Hooding and Recognition Ceremony
The hooding and recognition ceremony recognizes the hard work and dedication of students completing their degrees at the KU School of Medicine.
The School of Medicine will host its Hooding and Recognition Ceremony at 4pm on Saturday May 14, 2022, at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.
Guests are welcome to attend the ceremony, however, this is subject to change. Livestream will also be available. Information for in-person guests will be updated here and on the KU Medical Center recognition ceremonies information page once available.
Commencement
The University of Kansas Commencement will be held on Sunday May 15, 2022, at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas. Students are encouraged to participate in both the hooding and commencement ceremonies. For details, please visit commencement.ku.edu
Regalia orders
Students and faculty are required to wear regalia (cap/tam and gown) to participate in the Hooding Ceremony. Students should order their regalia from the KU bookstore before April 23, 2022.
