Here are some of the recent notable accomplishments from KU School of Medicine alumni.
Merlynn “Lynn” Colip, MD’61, was honored by the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) with its 2019 Jasper G. Chen See, MD, Volunteer Leadership Award. Each year, NAATP recognizes someone who has provided exceptional volunteer leadership in addiction treatment through board membership and philanthropy.
Wade H. Martin III, MD’77, was promoted to professor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. He was also recognized as an Albert Nelson lifetime achievement inductee for 2019 Marquis' Who's Who.
Robert G. Gish, MD’80, formed the medical consulting firm Robert G. Gish Consultants LLC in 2013 to assist liver and liver transplant programs with their operational, outreach, compliance, financial planning and program development.
Ellyn R. Mulcahy, PhD, MPH’06, is now associate professor and director of the master of public health program at Kansas State University. She also holds the Dr. James B. Nichols Master of Public Health Professorship in Veterinary Medicine.
