Vicky Martin, MHSA, RDMS, RVT, RT(R)
KU Diagnostic Ultrasound and Vascular Technology certificate program
Since 2004, Vicky Martin, MHSA, RDMS, has served as co-program director of the certificate program in diagnostic ultrasound technology (general and vascular concentrations). A didactic and clinical instructor, she currently teaches courses in gynecologic and obstetrical ultrasound in addition to delivering clinical training in the Department of Radiology of The University of Kansas Health System.
Martin obtained her undergraduate degree in radiology and health care management from Southwest Missouri State University. She maintains certificates in radiology from Research Medical Center and diagnostic ultrasound technology from the University of Kansas. She earned a master's degree in health service administration from the University of Kansas.
Prior to joining the medical center, Martin worked for three years at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. She has been employed by The University of Kansas Health System since 2000.
