METC Program
Are you a U.S. veteran looking to transition into an applied science degree program? Our respiratory therapy degree advancement program may be right for you.
A Program for Current Military and Veteran Students
Through a partnership with the Medical Education & Training Campus, KU offers a way for veterans to seamlessly shift into the respiratory therapy degree advancement program.
Cited in "Best for Vets" by Military Times, KU is one of 20 colleges and universities labeled by Military Advanced Education magazine as military-friendly for academic excellence.
The admission requirements and curriculum for this program is the same as our degree-advancement program. To be eligible, you must have professional certification as a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care and an associate degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited, CoARC-approved advanced respiratory therapist program.
You're welcome to apply to the online degree completion program at any time. To allow for sufficient time for processing, we recommend you apply by June 30 for fall semester start or November 15 for spring semester start.
