Our research focuses on the relationship between vestibular function and mobility in the home and community. By using innovative technologies, such as virtual reality training programs and mobile applications to encourage home exercise programs, the STABILITI Lab seeks to alleviate symptoms due to vestibular dysfunction and promote mobility.

Goals of the STABILITI Lab

  • Assessment and treatment of vestibular deficits using novel technology (FvHIT testing, VestRx).
  • Determine the relationship between vestibular function, spatial cognition and the effect on mobility in the home and community.
  • Study the relationship between multisensory deficits and the cognitive trajectory of individuals with traumatic brain injury.
