Learn about the ongoing research projects for the Mobility and Falls Lab.

Safe Fall Project

Funded by the National Institutes of Health in September 2021, this project explores teaching older adults protective movements that reduce the impact force when they fall as a strategy to reduce fall-related injuries.

Vestibular, Falls and Head Injury Project

Funded by the National Institutes of Health in September 2023, this project seeks to understand the mechanisms contributing to fall-related head injury in older adults.
