The LEARN PT Lab consists of KU physical therapy program faculty only and is a part of the larger, interprofessional LEARN lab. We share its mission and vision.

LEARN PT Core Members

We welcome collaborations! Each lab member's research interests are described in brief below, but their full bio and research interests can be found by clicking on their name. Please reach out directly to the lab member whose research interests align with yours.

Yvonne Colgrove, Ph.D., PT – Clinical education, student clinical performance, observation hours, pre-admission factors, clinical academic partnerships.

Stephen Jernigan, Ph.D., PT (Lab Director) – Interprofessional education, formative assessment, longitudinal student assessment (LEARN PT Rubric), physical therapy program outcomes.

Scarlett Morris, DPT, PT, MTC, OCS – Burnout and resilience, pro bono services, formative assessment, curricular development.

Mildred Oligbo, DPT, PT – Integrated clinical experiences (ICE), outcomes, longitudinal student assessment (LEARN PT Rubric), diversity, equity and inclusion, physical therapy program pipeline.
