Bethany Forseth, Ph.D., was one of two faculty in the KU School of Health Professions named a 2024-2025 KL2 Scholar by Frontiers Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Designed to foster the development of early career faculty, this grant award provides essential funding, training and research mentorship with a goal toward securing independent funding by the end of the second year. The project is titled "Developing and Refining a Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trial to Support Healthy Weight for Children in Rural Areas with Overweight or Obesity."

Lab director Bethany Forseth. Ph.D., was selected through a very competitive process as one of 25 fellows for the 2024 Comprehensive Program for Adaptive Interventions Training in Education. This intensive training institute program in February provided training on adaptive interventions and is funded by the Institute of Educational Sciences in the U.S. Department of Education.
