Alumni, current students, department staff, and our faculty are working hard to foster increased involvement in the nurse anesthesia program at the University of Kansas. There are several goals that we would like to achieve. These include increased support for the establishment of a scholarship sponsored by alumni, donations for financial support of student travel to AANA and KANA conferences, mission trips, and increased participation of alumni at our events.

Please support our efforts by giving back to the program and assist our current and future nurse anesthesia students with your time and monetary gifts.

Events

Throughout the year, our faculty, students and alumni come together with friends and supporters to support the department and share in social and educational events. 

Annual Fundraiser

Each fall, our alumni take the lead in hosting a fundraiser. All proceeds support students in our department, including international experiences, travel to professional meetings and scholarships.

Alumni Tailgate

A fall tradition, the annual alumni tailgate event offers an opportunity for our current students to introduce their families to the faculty, staff and alumni while cheering on the Jayhawks.

Ways to Get Involved
