Program Overview

The online degree-completion option is designed for adult learners who want to advance their career with a bachelor's degree in health information management. If you already have the RHIT credential, the curriculum in our program builds on your experience and training to prepare you to earn the RHIA credential. Our convenient, all-online program supports professional development in strategic leadership and management in the discipline of health information management.

RHITs, by virtue of prior academic work and employment experience, often have already met requirements for certain courses in this bachelor's degree program. During the advising process, we will review your transcripts and job history. Our process respects existing personal achievements and ensures students avoid courses in which appropriate mastery of the subject matter has been established.
