Advising

We are here to support students and their success. We welcome the opportunity to host you for a campus visit. Advising for prospective students is available Monday – Friday by appointment. Please contact him@kumc.edu to schedule your advising appointment or campus tour today. 

For students already enrolled on the KU Lawrence campus, please schedule an advising meeting with the KU Undergraduate Advising Center and indicate your interest in the pre-health information management track.

Location and Parking

The KU Department of Health Information Management main office is located on the second floor of the Taylor Building on the University of Kansas Medical Center campus in Kansas City, Kansas. The academic units of the School of Health Professions are located at the KU Medical Center 3901 Rainbow Boulevard, Kansas City, Kansas. Individual faculty and staff listings may be found in the campus phone directory.

KU Medical Center is easily accessible from I-35. Our location is approximately 45 minutes from the main campus of KU in Lawrence, Kansas. Visitors without pre-paid parking permits should park in the public parking garage along Olathe Boulevard on the south side of the campus. Accommodations available upon request.
