With the School of Health Professions celebrating its 50th anniversay in 2024, this issue of The Insider highlights the history of the School of Health Professions and our many notable accomplishments; it also includes interviews of former faculty who were instrumental in the success of this school.
This issue highlights some of the ways we expanded access and resources for students interested in programs offered by the KU School of Health Professions including new scholarship awards. Additional topics include a profile of the school's outreach and recruitment specialist and updates on students in the new master's degree program in athletic training.
The fall 2021 issue looks back at the accomplishments at the School of Health Professions over the past five years, including the incredible growth in research, a significant increase in student enrollment and the addition of several new degree programs.
In this edition, we explore the ways our faculty, staff and students dealt with the COVID-19 epidemic, including how students and faculty adapted to remote learning and how the school united to help the community cope with the pandemic.
This issue focuses on the School of Health Professions’ dedication to professional and community service, including student participation in the fall community service day and how many school faculty are taking on leadership roles in national professional organizations.
