Sarah Abi Doumeth, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Kansas University Medical Center. She completed her rheumatology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, following internal medicine training in both the United States and Lebanon. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
Dr. Abi Doumeth’s academic work focuses on wide range of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including lupus, inflammatory arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, and complex connective tissue disorders. with peer-reviewed publications and national presentations. Her research spans multiple methodologies aimed at improving outcomes in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. In addition to conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses examining disease phenotypes, biologic efficacy, and treatment response in conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, and axial spondyloarthritis, she has also been involved in retrospective cohort studies, registry-based analyses, and outcomes research.
