Professional Background

Stephanie Blakesley, DNP, CNM, IBCLC earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Mercy University in 2013 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kansas in 2023. Her clinical experience includes practice in private practice settings, federally qualified health centers, and hospital-based organizations caring for high-risk populations. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a strong focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care. During her graduate education at the University of Kansas School of Nursing, Dr. Blakesley worked in the simulation laboratory and served as a clinical instructor, supporting undergraduate nursing students in the development of clinical skills, clinical reasoning, and professional practice.
