Training Resources

SABA- At the University of Kansas Medical Center, learners have access to a variety of web training, including new employee training, annual compliance training, research training and other training related to their work at KUMC. In the SABA learning management system, learners work at their own pace while accessing SABA from any location with internet access.

CITI- Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) provides online regulatory compliance training. KUMC requires all personnel involved in research to complete CITI’s Responsible Conduct of Research module; personnel involved in research involving clinical trials or human participants (or human participants’ protected information and records) also need to complete CITI Biomedical Research (human subject protection) and Good Clinical Practice. View the Training Policy for additional information on required training at KUMC.

Access to CITI is via KUMC single sign-on. Select “Log In Through My Organization” on the CITI site and locate University of Kansas Medical Center using the search box. If you had an existing CITI profile before joining KUMC, you may link that account after logging in via single sign-on.  View the CITI Guide to Getting Started for additional support.

Please join us for an informal meeting for University of Kansas Medical Center and Health System personnel involved in research. Each session provides an opportunity to meet the other researchers within the KUMC/KUHS network, share experiences and ideas, make mentoring connections, learn about study logistics and engage in career development in all areas of research.

Visit the Research Administration Events Calendar for upcoming sessions and the News & Updates intranet page for recordings of past sessions.

Presented in partnership with Frontiers Clinical and Translation Science Institute, this monthly lecture series provides research personnel and scholars an opportunity to learn about resources available for translational research at KUMC and gain insight into the scope and impact of translational research for improving healthcare delivery, patient outcomes, and community health.  Visit the Events Calendar to register for upcoming sessions.
