KU Launches First-in-Human “Triple Threat” CAR T Trial
KU’s Midwest Stem Cell Therapy Center has achieved a major milestone by successfully manufacturing a novel “Triple Threat” CAR T-cell therapy in-house and launching its first-in-human Phase I clinical trial at The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

About the Center
The Midwest Stem Cell Therapy Center (MSCTC) is a research and development center, identifying adult stem cell applications for the treatment of various human healthcare conditions. The center is housed within the University of Kansas Medical Center campus in Kansas City, Kansas. The MSCTC is designed to serve as a hub of adult stem cell therapy, research and education in the State of Kansas and the adjoining region. We currently do not treat patients.
We are actively involved in human clinical trials that define the safety and efficacy of the adult stem cells we are investigating.
