The rate of aging is different for every person and is affected by genetics and lifestyle. Importantly, actions you can take can help you maintain physical and cognitive function to ward off disability and frailty. The University of Kansas Medical Center and the Landon Center on Aging are committed to research to explore underlying biology and identify exercise, nutrition, pharmacologic, and other interventions that can boost health and quality of life of older adults.
