Geriatric Medicine clinics provide comprehensive primary care for those 65 and older. Our board-certified physicians specialize in the assessment and management of elderly patients with general medical conditions.

Our Geriatric Medicine physicians have expertise in the unique primary-care requirements of older patients. In addition, our teams include social workers, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and pharmacists who have special training and interest in working with older adults.

The Geriatric Medicine Suite is located on the 1st floor in the Landon Center on Aging. It is staffed by board-certified Geriatric Medicine physicians who are specialists in the evaluation and treatment of older adults. Our physicians provide ongoing primary care for patients or coordinate with other primary care physicians in the comprehensive assessment of geriatric conditions in their patients. The General and Geriatric Medicine Clinic is located on the 4th floor of the Medical Office Building (MOB), which is located on the south side of the University of Kansas Hospital. The Geriatricians in this clinic provide comprehensive primary and consultative care for those 65 and older.
