Image Acquisition of Sectioned or Live Cell preparation by Light, Fluorescent and Confocal Microscopy

Objectives:
The ability to view, measure and record characteristics of biological samples or an organism's behavior lies at the heart of scientific investigation. Our overall objective is to provide skilled and knowledgeable staff and state-of-the-art equipment to support imaging based technologies necessary for conducting cutting-edge research. While priority is given to research related to intellectual and developmental disabilities, we provide services for any investigator in need of our resources.

Services:

  • Image acquisition including light, fluorescence, and multiple confocal microscopy platforms
  • Image analysis and processing including confocal images, stereology & morphometry
  • Image output including 2D & 3D graphic services of scientific images
