Grants awarded by the Kansas Center for Implementation Science COBRE support a range of projects focused on advancing implementation science to reduce health inequities.

Mobile Intervention to Improve Diet

Heather Gibbs, Ph.D., leads this study using a mobile tool to improve diet quality among Latino children.

Dementia Caregiver Support

Led by Dr. Jaime Perales Puchalt, this study aims to implement a dementia caregiver support strategy among Latinos in primary care.

Smoking Cessation Intervention

Dr. Taneisha Scheuermann will study the effectiveness of an incentive-enhanced text messaging program for smoking cessation.

Improving Prenatal Care

Led by Dr. Sharla Smith, this study will test a strategy to prevent preeclampsia for low-income at-risk women.

Supporting Maternal Health

Christina Pacheco, JD, MPH will evaluate the effectiveness of a mobile tool to support pregnant American Indian/Alaskan Native women.
