Mission:
Within the realm of reproductive health, the Center for Reproductive Sciences (CRS) at the University of Kansas Medical Center focuses on fertility regulation, infertility treatment and diseases of the reproductive tracts associated with infertility. Research and clinical expertise in male and female reproductive endocrinology provide a rich and diverse foundation for investigations in gonadal biology, male and female contraception, embryo development and implantation, as well as diseases of the female reproductive tract including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and uterine fibroids. The overall objective of the CRS is to advance research in these areas, better educate the lay public on these topics and provide outcomes that will guide patient care.
