Lead Development and Optimization Shared Resource
The LDOSR combines highly trained, industry-experienced scientists and project managers with state-of-the-art equipment in an academic setting to design and execute integrated drug discovery research programs spanning target validation through in vivo preclinical proof of principle.
3 Components of LDOSR consists of
- 1. High Throughput Screening (HTS)
- 2. Medicinal Chemistry (MDCM)
- 3. Biopharmaceutical Innovation & Optimization Center (BIOC)
LDOSR supports KUCC investigators to accelerate projects around cancer pathways or targets from early development to preclinical proof-of-concept testing.
Services are provided either as an integrated package through the Drug Discovery & Development Steering Committee (D3SC) or on a stand-alone basis to KUCC researchers based on specific project activities. Skilled project management is incorporated for all activities
