Our mission is to advance research and education in biomedical imaging as part of a premier academic medical center.

The mission of the HBIC parallels the education, clinical, research and service missions of the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). We are committed to providing outstanding imaging capabilities that complement the existing neuroscience community at KUMC and in the larger KU and Kansas City community. Center faculty, researchers, students and staff are committed to answering the call for outstanding interdisciplinary research and patient care.
