Mission Statement

The University of Kansas Medical Center - Genome Sequencing Facility (GSF) was established by the  University of Kansas School of Medicine and operates in partnership with the Kansas Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (KIDDRC) NIH U54 HD090216 and the Kansas University Medical Center - Microarray Facility ( KUMC-MF ). The mission of the Genome Sequencing Facility is to provide centralized access to Single Cell, Spatial Genomics and Next Generation sequencing (NGS) technology for the advancement of research conducted by Investigators of KUMC, Kansas Regent Institutions and member institutions of Frontiers to Next Generation sequencing technology for the advancement of research conducted by Investigators of KUMC, Kansas Regent Institutions and member institutions of Frontiers Clinical & Translational Science Institute.
